Polish American Congress (IL Div) Met Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot at the Heritage Month Breakfest

As part of the Heritage Month celebrations members of the Polish  American Congress (IL Div) participated in a breakfast meeting with Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
Breakfast took place on October 15th at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP located at 151 North Franklin Street in Chicago. It was hosted by Konrad Nowak and Iwona Bochenska from the Sister Cities.

Mayor Lightfoot spoke about contributions of Polish diaspora to the Chicago over the past 150 years. Michael Niedzinski presented Mayor Light with book titled “Artist in Concrete and Steel” about Chicago-based world renowned bridge builder and architect Ralph Modjeski. Book was authored by PACIL secretary Dr. Jan Plachta.

Attending from Polish American Congress Illinois Division were Miroslaw Niedzinski, Ewa Cholewinska, Jola Grocholska, Bozena Haszlakiewicz, Dr. Jan Plachta and Roman Poplawski.
