UPDATED – PAC-IL: May 3rd Polish Constitution Day Celebrations

PAC-IL participated in the 128th, annual, May 3rd Polish Constitution Day Parade in Chicago on Saturday. May 4th, 2019. Earlier, members of the organization participated in the ceremony of laying a wreath at the Kościuszko Monument at Solidarity Drive (near the Adler Planetarium) and a brunch held by the Chicago Society.

On Monday, May 6th, Consulate General the RP held an event to celebrate May 3rd Polish Constitution Day.  Many foreign diplomats and honorable guests joined distinguished members of Polonia in the Polish Museum of America.  Number of individuals active in Polonia received decorations and awards.  PAC-IL President, Mr. Miroslaw Niedzinski received a recognition as the “Wybitny Polak w USA 2019 w kategorii NAUKA”; posłanka Joanna Fabisiak presented this award (Mrs. Cornelia Niedzinski received the award on his behalf).   Piano recital by Mrs. Magdalena Baczewska, including compositions by F. Chopin and J. Paderewski, concluded this patriotic event.

Polish American Congress – Illinois Division invites everyone to demonstrate strength of Polonia during the May 3rd, Polish Constitution Day Parade in Chicago on May 4th, 2019.

UPDATE: Dear Members, please note that our marching group number is 44 this year.  We can put about 15 – 18 people on the float. Others can be marching alongside the float.

Special Notice: Following the Parade, you are invited to attend the Grand Constitutional Concert at the Chopin Garden in Grant Park (11th & Michigan Ave.) at 2:00 pm, organized by the Chicago Chopin Foundation (free admittance).
