PAC-IL at the US Census Press Conference at Cook County Treasurer’s Office

On February 3^rd, 2020, Ms. Maria Pappas, Cook County Treasurer, held the press to announce her office participation in Census 2020 effort to ensure that Illinois gets a full and fair count in this year’s national census.

Mr. Michael Niedzinski, President of the Polish American Congress, Illinois Division (PAC-IL), and Jan Kopec, President of the Alliance of Polish Clubs shared remarks in interests of Polonia in the Cook county. PAC-IL was also represented by Ms. Alina Mikolajczyk, Board Member, and Mr. Roman Korczak, Executive Director.

Among other guest speakers were Marilyn A. Sanders, Chicago regional director of the U.S. Census Bureau; Raja Krishnamoorthi, U.S. Congressman 8^th District; Toni Preckwinkle, Cook County Board President and Ariel Reboyras, 30^th Ward Alderman.  Polish-language press and Polvision TV were among many media outlets providing the coverage.
