The Polish Museum of America (PMA) and the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA) have the pleasure to invite you to join in the annual official State of Illinois observance of Casimir Pulaski Day on Monday, March 7, 2022, hosted virtually!
Although the COVID-19 pandemic has taken its toll on many cultural institutions and non-profits, it is important for the Polish American community that this yearly tradition continues.
The 2022 Pulaski Day celebration will be presented in a different format in consideration of current health and safety regulations. The entire program – featuring a mixture of live speakers alongside prerecorded messages and featurettes, will be streamed online via the PMA website (www.PolishMuseumOfAmerica.org), the PMA Facebook page, and the PMA YouTube channel. The program will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
During the live stream of the Pulaski Day observances, you are encouraged to take a “selfie” of yourself watching the program online. Please ensure the video stream is visible in the background, and e-mail the digital photograph to PMA@PolishMuseumOfAmerica.org before the end of the program. Additionally, post your selfie on your social media accounts with the hashtag – #PMAPulaskiDay2022. Tag the PMA on Facebook and Instagram as @PolishMuseumOfAmerica and on Twitter as @polishmuseum. Images received in time will be included in the live stream program in acknowledgement of this year’s virtual audience.
