Christmas Celebration Party at the Polish American Congress, Illinois Division

Polish American Congress, Illinois Division, held the Christmas Celebration Party on December 9th, 2019. It was a splendid event that gave an opportunity for our members and guests to meet and celebrate all the best that Christmas brings.  Traditional sharing of Christmas wafer (oplatek) and extending personal wishes to each other began the celebration. There were many joyous stories and laughter shared by everyone. It was a truly warm and pleasant evening.

A superb artistic program was presented by Mała Polonia, a newly formed group of children from the “Polonia” song and dance group at the St. Ferdinand parish. Ms. Anna Krysiński is the group’s director.  And yes, we had also a surprise visit by our beloved Santa Claus!

Were are privileged that among our distinguished guests were:

Piotr Semeniuk – Consul of the Republic of Poland,
Maria Pappas – Cook County Treasurer,
Paul Kawa – Deputy Cook County Treasurer,
Jan Kopec – President of  Alliance of Polish Clubs,
Richard Owsiany – President of Polish Museum of America,
James Robaczewski – President of PRCUA,
Jozek Cikowski – President of Polish Highlanders in America,
Piotr Wyszkowski – VP of PACBA,
Helena Soltys – VP of Polish Teachers in America,
Casey Chlebek – Candidate for US Senate

Thank You, we are always happy to have you with us!

We also recognize our few hard-working PAC-IL volunteers that made this event a success – Thank You!
